Our Team

Born and raised in Billings, Montana Hudson has been in the green industry since he was old enough to push a lawn mower. His childhood hero was his grandfather Doc Hagstrom. When Doc passed in 2007 he left his grand kids 1000.00 dollars apiece. Hudson purchased his first commercial mower with that money and thus started H2 Lawn and Snow.  His passion for outdoor spaces has led him to pursue his career in the green industry.  Over the years as H2 has grown Hudson continually credits his success to surrounding himself with an amazing team and loyal customers.  

Jake Kurtz has been with H2 since 2012 when we were operating just 1 full-time lawn crew!  Over the years he has worked, learned, and mastered all services that H2 has to offer.  We are very fortunate to have him.  Jake moved to Billings from Upstate New York in 2012. His plan was just to travel and see the country then head back to New York a year later. However, Montana stopped him in his tracks and he chose to call Billings home. He now has purchased a home here and started a family.  Jake still lives for all things New York sports and enjoys traveling with his family to football games, relaxing on the beach, or visiting family in New York.  If you are fortunate enough to have Jake on your project you will not regret it! 

 Madison Tucker started with H2 Lawn and Snow in February of 2020. Over a year later she is still with us and better than ever!  She has worked 8 years in the restaurant industry and it is evident in her customer service and attention to detail. Madison has filled a great need in the H2 team by providing quick administrative responses to our wonderful customer base. Her knowledge and care of the industry continues to grow! Madison is highly family oriented and blesses the office with pictures of her beautiful niece often. She has a work ethic that is becoming harder and harder to find in young adults.  We are extremely grateful to have her on our team!

Sam is the driving force behind the operational excellence of our lawn and landscape company. With an extensive background in management and a passion for fostering talent, he brings invaluable expertise to his role as Operations Manager.

In his capacity, Sam takes charge of hiring and training new team members, ensuring that each individual is equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their respective roles. His meticulous attention to detail and commitment to quality control guarantee that every task is executed to the highest standards, leaving no room for error. In the busy season, Sam ensures that tasks and projects don't fall through the cracks and acts as a safety net for H2.

Beyond his professional endeavors, Sam finds joy and fulfillment in his personal life. He has been happily married to his wife Hannah for six wonderful years, and together, they share a commitment to improving their home through remodeling projects. This passion for enhancement extends beyond the workplace, reflecting Sam's unwavering dedication to excellence in all aspects of his life.

Thomas seamlessly transitioned into H2 in the Spring of 2019, bringing with him five years of invaluable experience in the green industry. His rapid acclimation to our team and operations was a testament to his dedication and aptitude.

Previously running our lawn care division for 2 seasons, Thomas's leadership has been instrumental in the growth and cohesion of his team. Now, as the head of our fertilizing division, he spearheads initiatives that propel our company forward while fostering a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement.

Thomas's infectious positivity and exemplary work ethic serve as a guiding light for our team members. He leads by example, consistently demonstrating a can-do attitude and a commitment to excellence in all that he does.

Outside of work, Thomas's personal life is just as fulfilling. He married the love of his life in the Summer of 2017, and together, they recently expanded their family by adopting a dog from a local animal shelter. As they embark on this new chapter together, Thomas and his wife find joy in the simple pleasures of family life.

Adam has been involved in the landscaping industry since he was a freshman in high school. 15 years later he is perfecting his kraft and hobby of delivering beautiful landscapes to the Billings area. With an emphasis on the fine details and customer service.  From mastering the shovel to now installing waterfalls, concrete curbing, irrigation systems, custom patios, landscape lighting and every plant that can be installed in our climate. It is safe to say experience is in abundance with Adam. He continues to walk with humility and a constant desire to learn more to better himself and those around him.  If Adam is not working he is fishing with his son or blessing his family in any way he can. 

Jayden is the driving force behind our lawn mowing division, bringing five years of dedicated service and expertise to our team. With a passion for landscaping and a keen eye for detail, Jayden has played an integral role in ensuring the success and growth of our lawn-mowing division.

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Jayden leads an active lifestyle outside of work. He finds joy and exhilaration in hitting the trails for mountain biking adventures and carving through fresh powder on the slopes during the snowboarding season. His love for outdoor activities reflects his commitment to embracing nature's beauty and challenges, qualities that undoubtedly influence his approach to landscaping and managing.

Jayden is not only a skilled professional but also a valued member of our team who brings enthusiasm, expertise, and a sense of adventure to everything he does. We're grateful to have him leading our lawn division and look forward to many more successful years together.
