Hudson was born and raised in Billings, Montana, and has been passionate about the green industry for as long as he can remember—starting as soon as he was old enough to push a lawn mower. Inspired by his childhood hero, his grandfather Doc Hagstrom, Hudson learned the values of hard work, perseverance, and community. When Doc passed away in 2007, he left each of his grandchildren $1,000. Hudson used that gift to purchase his first commercial mower, planting the seed that would grow into H2 Lawn and Snow.
Driven by his love for outdoor spaces and a commitment to excellence, Hudson has dedicated his career to the green industry. Over the years, he has guided H2 through incredible growth and success. Despite the company’s achievements, Hudson remains humble, consistently crediting his progress to the amazing team he’s built, the unwavering support of loyal customers, and his incredible family.
Hudson is blessed with a supportive wife and two wonderful children who inspire and encourage him every step of the way. Their love and encouragement fuel his passion for creating beautiful outdoor spaces and growing a business rooted in community and care.

Jake Kurtz, Chief Operating Officer
Jake Kurtz has been an essential part of H2 since 2012, back when the company was running just one full-time lawn crew. Over the years, Jake has worked tirelessly to learn and master every service H2 offers, becoming a cornerstone of the team and a trusted expert in the field. His dedication, skill, and commitment to excellence have been instrumental in helping the company grow and thrive.
Originally from Upstate New York, Jake came to Billings in 2012 with plans to travel, explore the country, and eventually return home. However, Montana quickly captured his heart, and he decided to put down roots in Billings. Since then, Jake has purchased a home and started a family, embracing his new life in the Treasure State while still holding a deep love for all things New York sports.
When he’s not hard at work, Jake enjoys traveling with his family, whether it’s attending football games, relaxing on a sunny beach, or visiting loved ones back in New York. His passion for life, both on and off the job, shines through in everything he does.

Madison Tucker joined H2 Lawn and Snow in February 2020 and has been an integral part of the team ever since. With eight years of experience in the restaurant industry, her exceptional customer service skills and keen attention to detail shine in everything she does. Madison has filled a crucial role on the H2 team, ensuring prompt and efficient administrative support for our valued customers. Thomas Smith, Turf Care Division Manager
Thomas seamlessly transitioned into H2 in the Spring of 2019, bringing with him five years of invaluable experience in the green industry. His rapid acclimation to our team and operations was a testament to his dedication and aptitude.
Previously running our lawn care division for 2 seasons, Thomas's leadership has been instrumental in the growth and cohesion of his team. Now, as the head of our fertilizing division, he spearheads initiatives that propel our company forward while fostering a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement.
Thomas's infectious positivity and exemplary work ethic serve as a guiding light for our team members. He leads by example, consistently demonstrating a can-do attitude and a commitment to excellence in all that he does.
Outside of work, Thomas's personal life is just as fulfilling. He married the love of his life in the Summer of 2017, and together, they recently expanded their family by adopting a dog from a local animal shelter. As they embark on this new chapter together, Thomas and his wife find joy in the simple pleasures of family life.
Adam Marsac, Billings Landscape Division Manager
Adam has been immersed in the landscaping industry since his freshman year of high school, turning a part-time job into a 15-year passion and career. Over the years, he has honed his craft, transforming outdoor spaces into stunning landscapes for the Billings area.
